BCM + at Carnegie last night, courtesy of BCM Maestro Jim Kull and the St. Charles East High School Wind Ensemble ... and the proof is in the pics:
The ensemble brilliantly presented New York premieres of Avenue X and Rise, among other goodies, and they even let us wave our arms around a bit...
Steve and I had a great time with the musicians ... and thanks to the magic of the internets, the photos are coming in fast. (Thanks Andrew -- Thanks, Kevin!)
I have no doubt we have absolutely no right to show the Carnegie image, but I figure we'll chance it until we get in trouble...
Friday, February 3rd, I performed CHAOS THEORY at Indiana Purdue University, with Dr. Gregg Gausline and his wind ensemble. The performance was for the Indiana Honor Band Festival that was going on at the time, and there were about 500 student musicians packed into a room that usually seats about 350! It was a very exciting performance for this SRO crowd... (I'll post pictures if I get ahold of any...)
